Pisces

Pisces is the final sign, where the zodiac's journey dissolves back into the ocean from which it came. If Aries is birth, Pisces is the return. The two fish swimming in opposite directions represent the soul's final dilemma: to stay in the world or to transcend it.

Ruled by Jupiter, Pisces is wisdom expressed through compassion rather than teaching. Venus is exalted here because love in Pisces becomes unconditional, no longer attached to beauty, pleasure, or reciprocation. This is the highest expression of both Jupiter and Venus.

As a Dual Water sign, Pisces is the most adaptable and the most formless energy in the zodiac. It takes the shape of whatever container holds it. This makes Pisces extraordinarily empathetic (it literally feels what others feel) but also extraordinarily vulnerable to losing itself.

The psychological signature is identity through dissolution. Pisces finds itself by losing itself: in art, in meditation, in service, in love. The danger is obvious: dissolution can become escapism. The mystic and the addict are both seeking the same thing: freedom from the ego. The difference is direction.
